Somalia arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Somalia?

No. Somalia doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form (also called an entry form, immigration card or landing card) before they travel. All foreign nationals must obtain an electronic travel authorisation/e-visa (eTAS) before travel since 1 Sep 2025; it functions as the visa, so it is not counted as an arrival form.

Do I still need a visa for Somalia?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Somalia's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
