Arrival Card Finder is run by helloalard. “We” on this page means helloalard.
The iPhone and Android app
The app is built so that your personal details never reach us. We don't collect any data from the app, and it has no account, no advertising and no tracking.
- Passport scan. When you scan your passport, the photo is read on your phone by the phone's own text recognition (Apple Vision or Google ML Kit) and deleted straight away. The photo is never uploaded.
- Your details and trips. The passport details, contact details and trips you save are kept only in your phone's secure storage (the iPhone Keychain or Android Keystore). They are never sent to us or stored on our servers. Deleting a traveller or trip, or deleting the app, removes them.
- Filling in forms. When you choose to fill in a form, the app opens the government's official website inside the app and types your saved details into that form on your phone. It only does this on the official government website, and you check and submit the form yourself. What you submit goes directly to that government, under its own privacy policy. We never see it.
- Copying answers. If you copy an answer to paste into a form, it is placed on your phone's clipboard, and the app clears the clipboard when you leave the form.
- Reminders. Trip reminders are scheduled on your phone. They don't use our servers.
- Country updates. The app downloads the latest country information from our website. This request contains no personal information. Like any website, our host keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses for security.
The camera is used only to scan your passport, and only after you allow it. The app doesn't use your location, contacts, photos or microphone.
Searching the site
You can use Arrival Card Finder without an account. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't link searches to you. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors. We also count which countries are looked up, without recording who looked them up, and how often the official-form and partner links are clicked. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
The app waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when our app is available on the App Store and Google Play. We use it for that and nothing else. We don't sell it or share it with anyone for marketing. Email addresses are stored with our form provider, Formspree, and may be copied to our own private admin dashboard.
To be removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email contact@helloalard.com. Every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
Partner links
Some pages show offers from travel partners, such as eSIMs, in boxes labelled as partner offers. No third-party script adds or changes links on this site. If you buy through one, the partner may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you, and the partner and our affiliate network, Travelpayouts, may use cookies to record that you came from us. Their own privacy policy applies on their site.
Links to official sites
When you open an official form, you leave our site. That government site has its own privacy policy, and we never see what you enter there.
