Kenya arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Kenya?

No. Kenya doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form (also called an entry form, immigration card or landing card) before they travel. Most visitors need an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) and, from 5 Oct 2026, Kenyan government travel health insurance bought with it. Travellers originating from DRC or Uganda must complete an electronic traveller surveillance form before disembarking; not required of visitors generally.

Do I still need a visa for Kenya?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Kenya's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
