Egypt arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Egypt?

No. Egypt doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form (also called an entry form, immigration card or landing card) before they travel. Some nationalities can use an e-visa (visa2egypt.gov.eg) or a visa on arrival. Paper passport control cards for Egyptian passengers ended at Cairo International Airport from 11 April 2026, with other airports to follow.

Do I still need a visa for Egypt?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Egypt's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
