Thailand's visa-free stay for tourists from most exempt countries, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia, drops from 60 to 30 days. The TDAC arrival card is still required and free.

Taiwan's online arrival card (TWAC) can now be filled in up to 7 days before arrival, instead of 3.

Vietnam starts its Pre-Arrival Information (PAI) declaration as a pilot at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Official sources differ on whether it is mandatory.

China lets foreign visitors fill in their arrival card online before travelling. It is optional, and the card can still be done on arrival.

India launches the e-Arrival Card, a digital version of the paper arrival card for foreign nationals, to be submitted within 72 hours before arrival.
