Somalia arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Somalia?

No. Somalia doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. All foreign nationals must obtain an electronic travel authorisation/e-visa (eTAS) before travel since 1 Sep 2025; it functions as the visa, so it is not counted as an arrival form.

Do I still need a visa for Somalia?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Somalia's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
