Ethiopia arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Ethiopia?

No. Ethiopia doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. Some nationalities need an eVisa. Travellers arriving from certain countries must complete an Ethiopian Ministry of Health survey before arrival; it is not required of visitors generally.

Do I still need a visa for Ethiopia?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Ethiopia's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
