El Salvador arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for El Salvador?

No. El Salvador doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. Paper customs form was replaced in 2023 by passport scanning at customs; no pre-arrival form.

Do I still need a visa for El Salvador?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check El Salvador's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
