Egypt arrival card: do you need one?

Common questions

Do I need an arrival card for Egypt?

No. Egypt doesn't ask visitors to fill in an online arrival form before they travel. Some nationalities can use an eVisa or visa on arrival; paper arrival cards were reported to be phased out at airports from Feb 2026.

Do I still need a visa for Egypt?

An arrival form is not a visa. Whether you need a visa or an electronic travel authorization depends on your nationality, so check Egypt's official immigration website or your own government's travel advice.
